  • ARM Payments: The guidelines distributed (5/3/16) are in effect and will be used by IU going forward. Please make sure you reference the email I sent out with the subject of, “New Eduplan Guidelines” for review. If you do not have this, please let me or your ADOFP know ASAP! The minimum payment for any ARM loan must be $25.00/month. The $25.00 payment will only be available to those who meet the criteria, so please make sure you familiarize yourself with those guidelines.
  • UEH Appeal Process: Students who start school with us on a UEH appeal (UEH Probation) will not receive a tablet for at least the 1st two modules. CFA will review the student’s GPA at the end of their 2nd module and if they are at a 2.0 GPA or higher, they will qualify for Title IV funds (including the 1st Pell Disbursement). If they are not at a 2.0 GPA by the end of the 2nd module, CFA will check again after the next module to see if they have a 2.0 GPA or higher. If by the end of the term (4th module) the student does not have a 2.0, the student will have failed the UEH probation and must be cash-pay.

  • GOOFF (Get Out of Fail Free)– An email has been sent out about this. You need 8 perfect files in a row to get one. If you fail a fail you can use it if you fix the file within 24 hours of it failing. See email from Dave (12/23/2015) for details.
  • PLUS MPNs – We cannot accept PLUS MPNs for Masters students. They must be a regular MPN.
  • Parent PLUS Form – Do not send this form if you haven’t actually talked to the parent. An explanation needs to take place with the parent so they know what they are signing. Be sure it is the parent signing the form.
  • UEH Appeals – We MUST do everything in our power to obtain transcripts and ledgers for the applicable schools listed. The appeal process is only for those who CANNOT obtain transcripts (school closure, etc.). Do not take shortcuts.

  • Grant/Scholarship Money on ISIR – We cannot accept these items as income received. If this is all they receive then they would still be considered low income.
  • 4 Month Loan Period – When putting together a 4 month loan PCE you can bring in whatever amount is left from the old loan even if it is over what a student receives in 4 months usually. Whatever they have left can be brought in.
  • V4/V5 POG’s – We need the actual diploma or transcripts for the POG if they are V4 or V5.
  • Dependent FAFSA with Parents that are not Legal Residents – When completing a FAFSA for a dependent student and the parents are not legal residents you only enter the information for one parent. Put the SS# as all zeros but only put one of the parents info or else the FAFSA will not let you proceed.
  • CampusVue Verification Holds – Before removing any holds in Cvue for verification please check the new ISIR against the last ISIR submitted to CFA. Additional items may need to be provided to clear the new ISIR or forms may need to be corrected to match the new ISIR. If you have questions please ask, don’t just remove the hold.
  • Rescheduled FAA – If you call a student for the FAA and they need to reschedule then they are considered a no show. The only time they are not is if they rescheduled 15 minutes before the FAA or earlier.
  • UEH Transcripts Required – We will need these not only for Pell but for Loans as well. If the student received any type of aid (loans or grants) then we need the transcripts.
  • Expiring ID’s – We need a new ID if the ID will expire within 6-8 weeks after the start date. The ID cannot expire before CFA orders their funds.
